Wheel Throwing & Handbuilding
Students will learn essential pottery techniques through both wheel-throwing and hand-building. Wheel techniques such as centering, opening, pulling, shaping, and trimming will be introduced alongside fundamental hand-building methods. The course emphasizes form, control, and consistency while building strong foundational skills and confidence working with clay.

• Class Size: Maximum 10 students
• Tuition: $350 (6-week course)
• Enrollment: New sessions begin every 6 weeks
All Level Hand-Building
Explore the creative freedom of hand-building while learning fundamental clay techniques. Students will create functional or sculptural pieces such as cups, plates, accessories, or sculptural forms. Drawing, painting, and design sketches may also be used as part of the creative process.

• Tuition: $250 (4-week course)
• Enrollment: Rolling enrollment
What to Know Before You Register

No prior experience is required.
We recommend bringing the following basic items for a comfortable studio experience:Comfortable clothing that can get messy
An apron or towel
Basic personal tools (optional)
Upon registration, we will email a recommended materials list with details and options.

All clay, glazes, and essential studio equipment are provided.
For students interested in surface decoration and color, purchasing personal underglazes is recommended.Class time includes setup and cleaning time.

Firings are $0.06 per cubic inch, covering both bisque and glaze firings, and are paid together at one time.

Makeup sessions are offered through bench-time self-study.
This allows students to make up missed classes through independent practice with flexible scheduling. -
Bench time is available for independent practice only and is open to Adult 7-Week Course students only.
Each student receives up to 4 hours of free bench time per week.
Students who would like additional access may add $40 at registration for extended bench time throughout the 7-week session.Bench Time Schedule:
Monday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM | 6:00 PM–8:00 PM
Wednesday: 4:00 PM–8:00 PM
Thursday: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Is bench time supervised?
Bench time is self-guided and intended for independent work. Instruction is not provided during bench time.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the class are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class will receive a class credit only, valid for one year.
Once the session has begun, no refunds will be issued.
