    • Centering, opening, pulling, shaping, and trimming

    • Pinching, coiling, and slab construction

What to Know Before You Register

Adult Multi week course

No prior experience is required.

We recommend bringing the following basic items for a comfortable studio experience:

  • Comfortable clothing that can get messy

  • An apron or towel

  • Basic personal tools(required)

  • Upon registration, we will email a recommended materials list with details and options.

When are the classes held?

Students can choose between Wednesday or Saturday sessions.

Each session runs once a week for 6 weeks.

How is the class structured?

A fine art–based, multi-week ceramics course

  • Structured weekly curriculum

  • Focus on form, surface, and color

  • Personalized guidance based on each student’s level

  • Suitable for beginners through intermediate students

What is included in the class fee?

All clay, glazes, and essential studio equipment are provided.

For students interested in surface decoration and color, purchasing personal underglazes is recommended.

Class time includes setup and cleaning time.

How does firing work?

Firings are $0.06 per cubic inch, covering both bisque and glaze firings, and are paid together at one time.

Is bench time supervised?

Bench time is self-guided and intended for independent work. Instruction is not provided during bench time.

Do you offer makeup classes?

Make-up classes must be completed within the session, subject to availability.

If a make-up class cannot be scheduled, missed classes may be made up through bench-time (studio use) for independent practice.

What is bench time?

Bench time is available for independent practice only and is open to Adult 6-Week Course students only.                                       

Bench Time (Studio Use) varies by session and availability. Please check the weekly schedule on our website or with the studio manager.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

  • 7+ days before the first class: Full refund

  • Within 7 days of the first class: 50% refund

  • After the session begins: No refunds or rescheduling permitted
